She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Marie Johnson Jones and Bert Jones; her siblings, Elnora Mancino, Dale Jones and Dorman Jones; and her grandson John Mathews.
She is survived by: her children, Mitzi C. Gillispie (Gail Childs) of Grovetown, GA, Matthew K. Gillispie (Linda Coleman) of Mineral, VA and Brain Giles (Faith Giles) of Culpeper, VA; her grandchildren, Justin, Becky, Joe Gillispie and Allison Bowersock; her great grandchildren, Adeline Gillispie and Kayden Strothers; her pet Stevie; and also Grace Gillispie. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
