It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Harper Easley (Chatham, Virginia), who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beaufort Lanier Harper and Annie Hughes Harper; her husband Jack; and her sisters, Nancye Donahoe, Elizabeth Yeatts and Frances Powell.
She is survived by: her son John Daniel Easley, Jr. (Becky); her grandchildren, Kathryn Tracy Smallwood (Wayne), Christy Luckey (Larry), John D. Easley, III (Erin) and Matthew Easley (Stephanie); her son William Lanier Easley (Mary Gail); her grandchildren, William L. Easley, Jr. (Emily), Mary Beth Dixon (Brad) and Walter Easley; her daughter Kathryn Harper Easley (Katie); her grandchildren, Laura Kathryn McHale (Jason) and Daniel Smith (Arly); her daughter Nancye Jo Easley Poff (Jim); and her grandsons, John T. Poff (Morgan) and Ben Poff. She is also survived by 17 Great-Grandchildren.
