He was predeceased by: his parents, Stover Henry Towler, Sr. and Elma Custer Towler; his brothers, Cecil Towler, Melvin Towler, Clyde Towler and Tommy Towler; and his son-in-law Brad McCutchen.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Towler of Chatham; his daughters, Sarah Stewart (Randy) of Chatham and Misty McCutchen of Chatham; his brothers, J. D. Towler of Blairs and Bobby Towler (Carolyn) of Chatham; and his grandchildren, Sonny and Jessica (Brian). He is also survived by one great-grandchild, six step-grandchildren, and twelve step-great-grandchildren.
