He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Meadows and Madeline Mays Meadows; his former wife Betty Meadows; and his siblings, Joan Meadows Woodson, Christine Meadows Kronkowski, Shirley Meadows Jones and Ronald W. Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Slough Meadows; his brother Henry Michael Meadows (Ruth); and his stepsons, Timothy Winn of Chatham and Anthony Kurtz of Lynchburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
