He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James Keatts and Hettie Adams Keatts; his wife Katie Irby Keatts; his siblings, Elwood Keatts, Earl Keatts, Garland Keatts, Nannie Mitchell, Dorothy Tucker and Gladys Hogan; and his stepson Albert Robertson (Pete).

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Raymond Robertson, Annie Wade and Dottie Wood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
