She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Pannell and Mary Jane Reynolds Pannell; her siblings, Audrey Rosa Hall and James Odell Pannell; and her sister-in-law Vanessa Pannell.

She is survived by: her son Chris Pannell (Brenda) of Chatham, VA; her grandchildren, Ceyon Elijah Michael Pannell, Calvin Lamar Isaac Pannell, Aliseia Vaness Pannell, Brandon Kristoffer Wilson and Charles Anthony Wilson; and her brothers, Frederick Douglas Pannell, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA, James "Ronson" Author Pannell (Loretta) of Stuart, VA, David Walter Pannell (Patricia) of Staunton, VA, Carlton "Clutch" Wayne Pannell of Chatham, VA and Richard Reynolds of Pittsville, VA. She is also survived by several nephews, other relatives and friends.
