It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Mitchell Jr. of Chatham, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Josh Mitchell, Sr. (Shelley) of Chatham and Wendy Mitchell of Gretna; his siblings, Blake Crouch (Christina) of Gretna, Lucas Jefferson of Gretna, Zach Hendricks of Gretna, Jessie Mitchell of Gretna, Jessica Haskins (Patrick) of Gretna and Katelyn Jefferson of Gretna; his grandparents, Matt Mitchell, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL, Debbie McKinney of Gretna and Sandra Walden of Gretna; his niece Blakely Crouch; and his cousins, Matt Mitchell IV and Kelsie Mitchell.
