He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Elizabeth Scruggs Inge and Norman Arthur Inge; his wife Elizabeth Mitchell Inge; his sisters, Betty I. Hamlett and Marie I. Reynolds; and his brothers-in-law, G. B. Reynolds, Hugh Mitchell and Godfrey Mitchell.
He is survived by: his sister Cindy I. Gibson (Darrell); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Mitchell, Leon Mitchell (Treva), Sandra Mitchell and Christine Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Chatham Chapel (147 S Main St, Chatham, VA 24531). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Burial Park (Hill Crest Ln, Virginia 24531).
