He was predeceased by: his parents, George Preston Shelton and Annie Craft Shelton; and his sisters, Betty Lou Shelton and Sudie Shelton Petibone. He is survived by: his wife Linda Oakes Shelton; his pet Charlee; his daughter Cindy M. Shelton; and his siblings, Ann Shelton Robinson and George Shelton (Debbie). He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
