With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Daniel Jeffress Jr. (Chatham, Virginia), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on August 5, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Brenda Hutcherson and Tracy Lantz; and his sister Margaret Cobb. He is survived by: his children, Caroline Hope Loomis of Alexandria, John D. Jeffress, III (Ashley) of Benson, N. C. and Justin Raymond Jeffress (Erin) of Benson, N. C.; his sisters, Betty J. Markham (Rick) of Danville and Carolyn J. Johnston (Ken) of Port Angeles; his brother-in-law Joe Cobb of Pelham, N. C.; his grandchild Jovi Lee Jeffress; and his friend Patricia Hylton.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Justin Raymond Jeffress, 7726 NC 50 South, Benson, NC 27504, to assist with the purchase of a headstone.
