It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Jones (Chatham, Virginia), born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on March 1, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael W. Katransky and Christine Bialecki Katransky; her spouse James William; and her siblings, Ann Marie Jones and Michael Katransky.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Jones, Kathleen Jones and Karen Jones Woodard (Robert); her grandchildren, Noelle Jones-Allen (Seth), Christa Jones-Conway (Christopher), Billy Woodard, Robert Woodard (Amanda) and Calla Rae Woodard (Brandon); and also Jim. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Concord United Methodist Church.
