She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Hayden Gibson and Jabe Gibson; and her siblings, Mary Martin, Elsie Blevins, Mildred Rowland, Ruth Chamberlain, Rither Gibson, James Gibson, Walter Gibson, Elvin Gibson and Nelson Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Stephen Giles; her children, Kim G. Van Der Hyde (Gregg) and Mark Giles (Wendy); her grandchildren, Katie Pifer (Edward), Andrew Van Der Hyde, Zachary Giles, Mary Beth Durocher (Dave), Nicole Hamlett (Robert) and Jeffrey Hines; and her sister Reba G. Midkiff. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
