He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Ernest Overbey and Susan Eugenia Hogg Overbey; his stepmother Helen Finch Overbey; his wife Janice Harris Overbey; his children, Judith Cabell Overbey and Jesse Dugger Overbey (Tanya); his grandsons, William and Randall; and his sister Sue Overbey Funderburk (Jim). He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
