He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Motley Shelton and Thomas Averette Shelton, Sr.; and his siblings, Clifton Shelton, Grover Shelton, Calvin B. Shelton, Thomas Averette Shelton, Jr., Eva Shelton Higgins, Rosa Lee Shelton Miller, Mary Shelton Jones, Gladys Shelton McDowell and Sarah Shelton Durham.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Wayne Shelton (Kneyokee) of Chatham, Virginia; his grandsons, James E. "Duke" Shelton (Rebekah) and Travis L. Shelton (Tiffany); his great grandchildren, Savannah, Peyton, Chase, Carleigh and Cayden; and his former wife Martha Shelton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all restrictions mandated by the guidelines set forth by the state must be followed by service attendants and staff.
