We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2024, at the age of 82, James Euell Brooks of Chatham, Virginia, born in Union Hall, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Euell Brooks to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar Brooks and Nena Brown Brooks; his sister Neva Brooks Farris; and his niece Anne Farris Loomis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Watson Brooks; his siblings, Mamie Brooks Browning of Lebanon, TN and Edgar Clinton Brooks of Union Hall, VA; and his nephew Steve Watson.

They attended New Bethel Church of the Brethren, at Pullens before Covid.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Bethel Church of the Brethren, 5636 Climax Rd., Chatham, VA 24531 or to the Climax Volunteer Fire Department, 875 Cooksburg Rd, Chatham, VA 24531, or to the charity of your choice.
