She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Royal and Barbara Lampkin Royal; her husband John William Keen; her children, Etheleen Adams Hughes, Joyce Carter, Betty Royal, Preston Keen, Louis Keen, Roy Neal Keen and Johnny Keen; and her siblings, Gilbert, Rogers, Horace, William, Arthur, Leonard, Harry, Winman Royal, Catherine Mitchell, Callie James, Stella Mitchell and English Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Bertha Keen, Bobbie Thomas (Booker Jr.), Joseph Adams (Benita), Bernard Keen, Sr. (Barrie), Morris Keen and Ronnie Keen; and her sister Idabell Terry. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
