She was predeceased by: her parents, George Daniel of Washington and Martha Ann Hutcherson Daniel; her daughter Nancy Irene Daniel; her grandchildren, David "Noody" Daniel, Jr. and Nikki Daniel; her siblings, Minnie Parker, Rosie Daniel, Mary Daniel, Addie Daniel and Sam Daniel; and the father of her children James Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, George Daniel (Dorothy), Bill Daniel, David Daniel, Sr., Richard Daniel, Gladys Buchanan (Judd), Velma Gibson (Darrell), Susie Daniel, Leonard Daniel (Bonnie), Brenda Lee (Charles) and Robert Daniel (Karen); and her sisters, Madie Cook and Georgie Moore. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
