He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Bradner, Sr. and Louise Taylor Bradner; his wife Dottie Day Bradner; and his sisters, Irene Reynolds, Lorraine Bradner and Minnie Pearl Vaden.
He is survived by: his son Meredith "Redd" Hardy (Lisa) of Danville, Virginia; and his siblings, Virginia Mazelle Reynolds of Gretna, Beatrice Logan of Springfield, Vernell Jones (Douglas) of Danville, Sheva Green (Cleveland) of Martinsville, Linda Gilbert (James) of Gretna, Janice Daye (Bobby) of Callands, Mary Frances Coles (Jessie) of Chatham, Virginia, Joann Davis (Walter, Jr.) of Chatham, Virginia and Jim Neal Bradner of Capitol Heights, Maryland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
