We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2020, at the age of 85, Garland Pigg (Chatham, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Ford Pigg and Della Craddock Pigg; his siblings, William Robert Pigg, Jay Hezekiah Ford Pigg and Charlotte Elizabeth Johnson; his niece Lori Johnson Jorgensen; and his nephew David Bruce Pigg.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Anderson Pigg; his daughters, Kimberly Pigg Young (Scott) and Jennifer Lynn Pigg (Duane Vadnais); his granddaughters, Kristi Young Lester (Clayton) and Katharine Anne Young; his niece Laura Pigg Taylor; his nephew William Robert Pigg, Jr.; and his close friend Boyce Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Dry Fork Volunteer Fire Department.
