He was predeceased by: his parents, Pattie Rhea Spence and Francis Wymond Hurt, Sr.; and the mother of his children Joyce Fletcher Voegeli. He is survived by: his children, Wymond Fletcher Hurt of Halls, Pattie Kathleen O'Hare of Chatham, Virginia and Jeffrey Charles Hurt of Elkmont, Alabama. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren.
