She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Erbane Mattox and Mae Cook Mattox; her husband William Curtis Scott; and her brothers, Calvin Albert Mattox and Leslie Sherwood Mattox.
She is survived by: her children, W. Curtis Scott, Jr. (Gayle Nicholas Scott) of Richmond and Patricia Ellen Scott Cassidy (Robert); her grandchildren, Amanda Ellen Demastus, Andrea Scott Gundlach (David Gundlach) and Brennan Curtis Scott; her great grandchild Graham Gundlach; and her sister Polly Mattox Kincaid of Perry.
