He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Amos and Annie Slayton Amos; and his brother John Amos. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Peggy Amos; his niece Ann Cravens (Mark); his cousins, Tommy Land (Mary Lea) and Max Amos; his caregiver Terri Oakes (Tim); and also Joel. He is also survived by four great nephews.
