Dillard Fitzgerald Sr. and Rebecca Caroline Lovelace Fitzgerald; his former wife Barbara Jean Thompson Fitzgerald; his wife Catherine Martin Fitzgerald; his siblings, Clara M. Fitzgerald Martin, Virginia Fitzgerald Woody, Darlene Fitzgerald Martin and James Thomas Fitzgerald; and his siblings-in-law, Minister Herman Martin, Ed Lewis Martin, Forest Woody and Polly Martin Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth R. Fitzgerald of Atlanta, Jerry L Fitzgerald (Jackie) of Danville, Dillard N. Fitzgerald (Tasha) of Danville, Mark A. Fitzgerald (Denita) of Greensboro, Keefe O. Fitzgerald of Danville and Damien C. Fitzgerald of Butner; his siblings, Lisa Fitzgerald of Chatham, Shirley Fitzgerald of Chatham, Joan Fitzgerald Smith (Carl) of Danville, Virginia, Roy L. Fitzgerald of Danville and David L. Fitzgerald (Kaye) of Danville, Virginia; his aunts, Ella Pearl Fitzgerald of Reidsville and Naomi Fitzgerald of Danville, Virginia; and his close friend Sammy L. Giles of Chatham, Virginia.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
