He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marsh and Vallie Adkins Marsh; and his grandchild Blair Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Church Marsh; his children, Cheryl Williams (Tommy), Denise Dawson (Randy), Cindi Hammell and Frankie Marsh (Barbara); his grandchildren, Travis Grindle (Brandy), Christopher Dawson, Benjamin Dawson, Tim Hammell Jr. (Emily), Joseph Hammell (Jennifer), Kip Hammell (Nicole), Kevin Hammell (Samantha), Lindsy Marsh and Joseph Marsh (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Emory, Anastasia, Piper, Andrew, Will, Leland and Anderson; and his brother Eddie Marsh (Jo Ann).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Mill Creek Community Church or to God's Pit Crew.
