It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Grooms Riddle of Chatham, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Grooms and Walter Grooms; her husband Cecil B. Riddle; and her daughters, Patricia Wyatt and Vicky Adros.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Gregory, Nancy James of Nebraska, Cathy Lee of North Carolina, Kimberly Thomas of Georgia and Roberta Bell of South Carolina; and her brother Lawrence Grooms. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Chatham Baptist Church in Chatham, Virginia.
