He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Atkinson and Helen Allen Atkinson; and his brother Johnny Atkinson. He is survived by: his children, Billy Atkinson (Tammy), Kimberly Fetty (Nicholas), Michael Atkinson (Jessika) and Tina Atkinson; his grandchildren, Jordan, Kira, Nadalie, Claire and Beckham; and his siblings, Larry Atkinson (Regina) and Phyllis Robinson.
