He is survived by: his wife Linda Shelton Rowland; his daughters, Christie R. Shelton (Donald) of Hurt, Jill R. Fisher (Kayne) of Greensboro, N. C. and Carla S. Rowland of Greensboro, N. C.; his siblings, Janet Bailey of Climax, Terecia Hamlett of Hurt, Leon Rowland of Chatham and Harold Rowland of Gretna; and his grandchildren, Austin Shelton, Kayna Fisher and Knox Fisher.
