She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Myers and Reatta Tarpley Myers; her son Mizell Myers, Sr.; and her sisters, Frances Myers, Ada Moore and Mae Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law LaToya Myers of Chatham, VA; her grandchildren, Courtnee Myers and Mizell Myers, Jr.; and her great grandchild Daxtyn Trisdale. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
