He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen and Bessie Owen; and his siblings, Shirley Morgan, Billy Owen, Kenneth Owen and Gene Watson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Ward (Hugh McGuire) and Mike Owen.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (819 E Sycamore St, Chase City, VA 23924).
