She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Linwood Carter; and her siblings, Eddie Royal Robertson, James Robertson and Delma Kolekofski. She is survived by: her children, Linwood Carter, Jr. of Chase City, Pamela Carter (Robert) of Chase City and Valerie Carter G. (Safford) of Buckingham, VA; her siblings, Thomas Gerald Robertson of Chesterfield, Wilda Stabler of Midlothian and Nell Rutledge of South Hill; her grandchildren, Shawna W. Bryant (Scott), Campbell Carter (Emily), Abigail Carter Pinero (Micah) and Jenna Gray; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Ann Carter, Greenley Bryant, Breanna Bryant, Mattie Robertson of South Hill and Linda Robertson.
