She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Colley Chaney and Ernest Chaney; her husband James Ash; and her brother Charles "Buddy" Chaney. She is survived by: her siblings, Steve Chaney (Connie) and Elizabeth Andrews; her daughters, Donna Gambino (Phil Gambino) and Debbie Harper (Robert Harper); her grandchildren, Amy Harper, Melissa Gleiser, Kristen Harris, Kyle Gambino and Kaitlyn Beltran; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Harper, Brantley Gleiser and Hudson Gleiser.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Sandy's church, Mt. Horeb Baptist Church/Women on Missions.
