He was predeceased by: his father William Dudley Toone; and his son William "Billy" Toone. He is survived by: his wife Betty Toone; his daughters, Leslie Tucker of Chase City, Laura Ekovich (Eric) of Sneads Ferry and LuAnn Morrow (Bobby) of Richmond, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Kim Toone of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Richard McSpadden, Tiffany McSpadden, Jayson Ekovich (Katie), Jaclyn Sterling (Marshall), Jordan Grubb (Alex), Anna Martin (Chris), Christian Morrow, Katie Morrow and Alex Toone; and his great grandchildren, Camron Fritter, Dorian Wood, Noah Wood, Lily Belden, Colt Sterling, Alena Grubb and Zoey McSpadden.
