She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Henderson and Mabel Bryson Carter; her husband Ezra Grover Wood; and her siblings, Ardelle Carter Grimes, Roy Carter, Jr., Gilbert Carter and Charles Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Ezra G. Wood, Jr. of Chase City, VA and Mabel Janet Wood of Chase City, VA; and her sisters, Helen Evans (George) of Boydton, VA and Mildred Wood of Chase City, VA.
