She was predeceased by: her parent Jesse Gurley; her husband Tom Mitchell; and her sister Alice Gurley Pyle. She is survived by: her parent Grace Gurley; her son Keith Mitchell of Chase City, VA; her grandchildren, Tommy Mitchell, Jessica Norwood of Palmer Springs and Sara Mitchell of Hopewell, VA; and her brother Carlton Gurley (Sylvia) of Chase City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
