He is survived by: his children, Stephen Whitten (Sylvia) of Chase City, VA, Timothy Whitten (Dianna) of Concord, NC and Jane Whitten Allen (Michael) of South Hill, VA.; his grandchildren, Jacob Whitten (Amy) of Chase City, VA, Sarah Jackson (Kyle) of White Plains, VA, Joshua Whitten (Nicole) of Chase City, VA., Zachary Whitten (Kelsey) of Concord, NC., Richard Whitten of Concord, NC., Taylor Allen, Cabel Allen of Richmond, VA and Elizabeth Allen (Lizzie) of South Hill, VA.; his great grandchildren, Connor Whitten, Hunter Whitten, Jackson Feild, Tucker Whitten and Emmett Whitten; and his brother-in-law Roland Wilkins (Annie) of Chase City, VA.
