He is survived by: his children, Barbrina Mayo-Faulcon of Creedmoor, NC and James C. Mayo, II of Rougemont, NC; his grandchildren, Juaniece C. Mayo of Creedmoor, NC and Yara J. Mayo of Clarksville, VA; his siblings, Doris A. Mayo of Chase City, VA, Marilynn M. Walker of South Hill, VA, Carolyn M. Chapman of Spring Lake, NC and Robert L. Watts (Josephine) of Chase City, VA; and his aunts, Mary Blanche Smith of Skipwith, VA and Lillian Brannan of Yonkers, NY. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
