She was predeceased by: her spouse Arvel Chapman; and her siblings, Gilbert, Grady, Leslie, Robert, Francis, William, Irene Card and Elsie Seamster.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Kirby of Chase City, Terry Chapman (Carol) of South Hill, Randall Chapman of Union Level, Mike Chapman of Union Level, Norma Clary of Durham, NC, Patsy Baughan of Chase City and Cynthia Reamey of Chase City; and her brother Paige Kirby of Norfolk. She is also survived by twelve Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
