She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Dodson and Fannie Betty Dodson; her husband George Weddington; her siblings, William, Charles Dodson, Beulah Dodson Sallie and Irene Dodson Gordon; and her grandson Andre High.

She is survived by: her children, Reginald Dodson (Winifred) of Chase City, VA and LaDonna W. Dodson Hardy (Jerry) of Richmond, VA; and her sister Leola Dodson Wood of Chase City, VA.
