He is survived by: his wife Mattie Wright Simmons of Chase City, VA; his children, Stephanie Simmons of Henderson, NC, Martin Simmons, Sr. of New York, NY, Damian Williams of Maryland, Lamonta Simmons of Richmond, VA, Shakeem Simmons of Petersburg, VA and Robert Frazier of Chase City, VA; his stepsons, James Goins of Charlotte, NC and Roland Goins of Florida; and his sister Elsie Simmons of New York. He is also survived by relatives and caring friends.
