She was predeceased by: her daughter Linda H. Pearson; and her siblings, Bessie Mills, Hazel Pearce, Sarah Pearce, Mildred Mills and Ronald L. Clary.
She is survived by: her brother Finley G. "Cutter" Clary of La Crosse; her son-in-law Morris Pearson of Chesapeake; and her significant other Ronnie Coleman. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
