He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee Thomas and Mary Lee Wells; and his siblings, Abdulla Jabar Armeen, Wali Zakee (Leon), Doris T Williams, Dolores T Waller and Diane T Fry.
He is survived by: his children, Andre Thomas of Esmont, VA, Matthew Beard of Washington, D. C., Phyllis Thomas of Esmont, VA and La Toya Ragland of Charlottesville, VA; and his siblings, James Thomas, Steve Thomas of Charlottesville and Daphne R. Fortune. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
