With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Lacy Tyree Sr. (Charlottesville, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2021 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Lee Tyree and Arlean Brown Tyree; and his siblings, Rufus, Albert Tyree and Martha Tyree Criss.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Bland Tyree; his son William L. Tyree, Jr. (Diane) of Dillsburg; his grandchildren, Trajan, Jaxon, Taliya and Jayla; his brother James Tyree of Charlottesville, Virginia; and his adoptive mother Grace Morris (Virginia) of Scottsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
