He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Slaughter, Sr. and Cecil R. Slaughter; his wife Peggy; and his siblings, Ronald P. Slaughter and Jane S. Sprouse.
He is survived by: his daughter Dotti Bradshaw (Ronnie); his grandsons, Andrew (Sarah Hale) and Joshua; his great grandchild Asher; and his friend Jeanne Bailes. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
