He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Vada Blevins Goode; and his brother Randolph Vincent "Skip" Goode. He is survived by: his son Allen Ritchey Goode (Tina Seaman Goode) of Charlottesville; and his grandchildren, Christopher Goode of Williamsburg and Thomas Allen of Charlottesville.
