She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Martha Johnson (Marsh); her husband Tom Mawyer; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Whitbey, Jay Vansant, Ike Jamison, Claude Loeser and Brenda Johnson.

She is survived by: her close friend Michael Scott; and her siblings, Robert Lee Johnson Jr. of Scottsville, Ann Whitbey of Scottsville, Barbara Vansant (Scott Gregory) of Chesterfield, Brenda Loeser of Scottsville and Judy Johnson of Scottsville.
