Sonny Randall Wooten Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 82, Sonny Randall Wooten of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Homer Wilson Wooten; his wife Mary Michael Wooten (Coffey); his stepfather William Thomas Bacon; and his mother Vera (Williams) Bacon (Williams). He is survived by: his daughters, Bebe Carter (Kenny) of Greer, SC, Connie Smith (Mike), Beth Strobl (Peter) of Vienna, WV and Karen Morris (Peter) of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Jordan Smith Nicolino, Joey Carter, Charlotte Smith Bell, Reid Strobl, Wil Carter, Drew Strobl, Lora Carter Mason, Wyatt Strobl, Mary Michael Strobl, Paige Michael Morris and Jack Morris; and his great grandchildren, Maddox Nicolino, Jay Carter, Wesley Nicolino, Palmer Bell and Reeves Carter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sonny's honor to the Wounded Warriors Project.
