It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricardo Rojelio Muñiz of Charlottesville, Virginia, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Trinidad Muñiz and Mercedes Borrego Ugarte; his wife Nancy Muñiz; his son Richard Lynn Willis, Jr.; and his siblings, Alma Aguillon and Joe Muñiz.
He is survived by: his granddaughter April; his daughters, Robin DeMonti and April Muñiz; and his great grandchildren, Angie Hegner, Elliott Freeman, Joey DeMonti, Emily Mothershead, Kaitee Jane Abosbitan, Teddie Neadow, Trevor DeMonti, Madison DeMonti, Tomlin DeMonti, Kainoa Jenkins, Savannah DeMonti, Jameson Neadow, Carson Abosbitan, Colson Neadow, Fern Mothershead, Joey DeMonti, Jr., Alexis Neadow and Eliza DeMonti. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
