Ray Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Smith of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Ava Roberson Smith; and his wife Phyllis Jane Smith. He is survived by: his sister Gloria S. Craig (John); his children, Tony Smith (Elizabeth), Cheryl Smith and Teri Smith; his grandchildren, Hunter Smith (Danielle), Tyler Greeley (Andrew), Katie Hardman, Josh Hardman and Joe Hardman; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Lincoln Smith, Isla and Bennett Greeley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
