She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew "Dick" Morris and Alice Lorraine Dowling; her husband Thomas Henry Birckhead; her daughter Patricia "Patty" Brent Birckhead-Decourcy; her great grandchild Mikala Brooke Keyton; and her close friends, Valerie Rose Tinder and Carol Lorraine Blackwell.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Jo Birckhead of Ruckersville; her brother Matthew "Mack" Morris (Linda) of Ruckersville; her grandchildren, Stephanie Nagel of Aylett, VA, Jennifer Callie Ranney of Charlottesville, Jason Thomas Keyton of Roanoke, Katelynn McGuire Sherrill (Mark) of Chester, VA and Joshua Tyler Daughtry of Ruckersville; her great grandchildren, Caleb Adams, Ryan Birckhead, Hunter Evans, James Sherrill, Preston Sherrill and Adam Sherrill; and her son-in-law Philip Decourcy of Ruckersville. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
