He is survived by: his wife Nicole Howard of Charlottesville Virginia; his children, Kyshon Howard, Michael Howard Jr., Antonio Avila, Carlos Jackson of Clovis California and Aytrice Howard of Charlottesville Virginia; his granddaughters, Miyah and Madelyn Albino of Virginia; his siblings, Steve Howard, Greg Howard (Kim Deane), Derrick Jackson of Charlottesville Virginia and Belinda Howard of Charlottesville Virginia; and his nieces and nephews, Tanjalir Howard, Derricka Edwards (Jackson) of Charlottesville Virginia, Dorain, Dominique Stewart of New York, Rashad Brock of Steven Dickerson, KJ Howard, Fredrick Green, Brian Coles and Davion Jackson of Charlottesville. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
